Do we have to change our AMS?
No. Certificates are issued in the system you already use.
Who sends the certificate to the holder?
You choose: straight to the holder, or to your account manager first.
What about special wording?
It's always checked against your policy and confirmed with your agency before anything is issued.
How do you get into our AMS?
You create a separate user for CertsDesk. That keeps access clean and lets you switch it off any time.
What if something's wrong?
Tell us and we fix it free. Every fix is logged, so you can see our accuracy.
Do you handle evidence of insurance for lenders?
Yes. Home, auto and commercial property evidence, and mortgagee or lienholder changes. If the policy doesn't meet what the lender asks for, we stop and ask you before anything goes out.
Can our insureds request certificates directly?
Yes, through your branded request page. Lenders can use it too.
Will our clients see CertsDesk?
No. Certificates go from your own email address, and your request page and your customers' sign-in carry only your name and logo.
Do we have to send you our policy data?
No. By default we look up coverage in your AMS for each request. If you'd rather, you can send policy data and master certificates once and we keep them on file.
What happens at renewal?
Thirty days before a policy ends we tell you which certificates are affected. You choose whether we wait for you to ask or open the renewal requests ourselves.
Can our customers get their own certificates?
Yes. You choose who at each insured can sign in, and they download their certificates or ask for a new one from your page.
